Leavs Ltd Green Credentials

Leavs Ltd is the little green company leading the way in eco packaging.

In keeping with minimising carbon footprints here at Leavs we are currently growing trial crops on our farm in South Norfolk – with the aim that next year we will be able to offer a product that is solely produced and grown in the UK.

We are already able to use some of the botanicals from our farm and are planning more varied trials in this area as well.

Leavs ltd provides a service and a product line that consistently exceeds environmental targets and provides a cost effective, secure and original means of packaging.

Leavs Eco-friendly goals

Ultimately we will source or grow our products right here in the UK wherever possible.

Our aim is to create the products that will;

  • Reduce by many 1000 tons the 1.67 million + tons of plastic packaging and so called Eco packaging going into UK landfill sites each year, helping local councils / governments reach landfill reduction targets (2013 target of waste sent to landfill to be 45% of amount sent in 1995 ).
  • To increase by thousands of tons the amount of protective packaging which can be re-cycled / composted, helping local councils / government reach recycling / composting targets (33% of household waste to be recycled or composted by 2015).
  • To save energy by reducing many 1000’s of barrels of oil and synthetic products used in the manufacture, production and distribution of oil based synthetic protective packaging.
